Telemar Scandinavia is part of the international Telemar Group. The Group's activities include companies in Italy, U.K, U.S.A, Caribbean, China, Singapore, Hong Kong, Russia, Finland and Sweden. In addition to global sales, installation and service of satellite communications systems and broadband solutions, Telemar provides IT and navigation equipment from the world's leading manufacturers. Telemar is also one of the world's major independent providers of Inmarsat and other satellite airtime. The annual turnover of the Telemar Group is approximately 80 million EUR.

We provide complete solutions including communication, equipment, installation, service/maintenance and support. From our offices in Gothenburg, Stockholm, Malmö, Helsinki,Turku and St Petersburg we serve an array of diverse markets, all in need for efficient communications on remote locations - at sea or on land.

November 2002
The company is founded with Compagnia Generale Telemar SpA as the majority owner.
November 2002
Telemar acquires two technical platforms for DVB broadband services from Telia in Sweden.
January 2003
Telemar taking over the mobile satellite businesses from Telia in Sweden and Sonera in Finland. The Gothenburg and Helsinki offices opened.
May 2003
Telemar takes over, from TeliaSonera in Sweden, the responsibility for the maritime and AIS networks owned by the Swedish Maritime Administration. The committment involves development, operation and maintenance. The Stockholm office opened.
Autumn 2004
Further expansion of Telemar Scandinavia into sales, installation, service & maintenance of heavy satellite terminals and navigation equipment for deep-sea vessels.
May 2005
Telemar Scandinavia opens an office in Malmö, Sweden, focused on Service & Maintenance
June 2005
Telemar acquires Navidec Oy with offices in Helsinki and Turku
September 2007
Telemar establishes Telemar Russia in St. Petersburg
October 2009
Telemar expands further by adding radars and other navigation electronics to the product portfolio. Japan Radio Co (JRC) appoints Telemar as distributor in Sweden.
